We entrust artists with biodiversity structures designed by our local artisans.
They transform them into painted, sculpted, and colorful works of art.
These works are then installed in places that welcome them: parks, estates,
vineyards, foundation gardens, and corporate campuses. There, they fulfill two
inseparable functions: they provide a real home for living creatures, and they tell a story
to those who discover them.
Art raises awareness where statistics fall short. A family that stops in front of
a work inhabited by bees understands in thirty seconds what a report cannot
convey.

In the hands of an artist, a biodiversity infrastructure becomes a living sculpture, beautiful to look at, teeming with wild bees, birds, and butterflies.

Each creation is geotagged and linked to the Betterfly app: its species are monitored, and its data is tracked by our bioengineers. From one city to the next, they trace a living path across Europe.

And it all starts with a connection. Businesses, schools, citizens—anyone can take an artist under their wing. You provide a space, materials, and support. The artist offers their perspective. Nature does the rest.

Each piece in the exhibition brings together three worlds that rarely intersect: local artisans who craft it, people in social reintegration programs who assemble it, and an artist who gives it its distinctive character.

The program also funds what isn’t immediately visible: scientific monitoring, networking among locations, and implementation in areas that would otherwise never have the resources—schools, neighborhoods, and rural communities.
